What is Would You Rather?
Would You Rather is a conversation game built on impossible choices: “Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?”. There is no right answer, only a choice you must defend. This wheel holds 150 would you rather questions, from silly dilemmas for children to trickier ones for a night with friends, so you never run dry halfway through a game.
The slices are numbered and the full question appears in large type when the wheel stops. Elimination is on, so a dilemma that has been played leaves the wheel. Nobody has to think of the next question, and nobody can pick the one that suits them.
How to play Would You Rather
- Choose a set: Kids, Teens, Friends, or “All 150”.
- One player spins and reads the dilemma aloud.
- Everyone votes at the same time: left hand up for the first option, right hand for the second.
- Each side gets 30 seconds to convince the other. Every player who switches earns the persuading side a point.
- Pass the phone to the next player and spin again.

Versions by age: kids, teens and friends
Kids (55 questions) keeps things playful: pet dragons, chocolate rivers, superpowers. Teens adds phones, school, social media and fame. Friends is for adults: work weeks, travel, flatmates and food debates, including a few Moroccan ones like mint tea against coffee. Every question is clean, so you can play any set with the family. Some dilemmas belong to two sets, which is why the chips add up to more than 150.

English teachers love this game because every answer practices a real structure: “I would rather fly, because…”, then “If I could fly, I would…”. Spin a Kids or Teens question, give pupils one minute to write two reasons, then let a few defend their answer aloud. Is the dilemma wheel random?
Yes. On the first spin each of the 150 dilemmas has a 1 in 150 chance, about 0.67%; with Elimination on, the odds rise as the wheel empties. The pick is made by your browser’s cryptographic random generator before the wheel starts turning, so the person spinning cannot aim for a question they like. The fairness page shows how it works.

How do you play Would You Rather?
One player reads a dilemma with two options, such as “Would you rather live under the sea or on the Moon?”. Everyone picks one option at the same time, then explains why. There is no wrong answer: the fun is in the arguments. Spin the wheel for each round so nobody has to invent questions, and keep score on paper if you want a winner.
Is there a version for kids?
Yes. Tap the Kids chip to keep only the 55 questions written for children, about animals, sweets, superpowers and adventures. They suit ages 5 and up, and younger children can play if an adult reads the question aloud. All 150 questions are family-friendly, but the Teens and Friends sets talk about phones, work and travel, which younger players may find less fun.
Can we play Would You Rather remotely?
Yes. On a video call, share your screen with the wheel in full screen and let everyone vote in the chat or with their hands on camera. In a group chat, open Share and send the wheel by link or WhatsApp: each friend can spin on their own phone, with no app to install and no account.

Yes. Open the editor and type your own questions, one per line, or delete the ones you do not like. Each question can be up to 120 characters. Your version is saved automatically on your device, and you can share it with a link so your friends play with exactly the same list.
What makes a good would you rather question?
Both options must be tempting, or both slightly annoying, so the choice is genuinely hard. Keep it short enough to read in one breath and concrete enough to picture, like “a pet panda or a pet unicorn”. Avoid questions that single out someone in the room. The best ones start an argument that lasts longer than the vote.
