Random Moroccan City Wheel
Spin for one of 50 cities in Morocco, from Tangier to Dakhla, and filter by region in one tap.
What is the random Moroccan city wheel?
This random Moroccan city wheel picks one city out of 50, spread across the 12 regions of Morocco, from Tangier on the Strait of Gibraltar to Dakhla on its Saharan lagoon. Each result shows the city and its region, so the wheel works as a travel idea generator, a geography game and a way to settle where the family goes this weekend.
Region chips above the wheel narrow the draw in one tap, and Elimination keeps a city from coming up twice during a quiz or a road trip. The wheel is free, needs no account and keeps working offline once loaded, handy on a train between Casablanca and Fez.
How to use the Morocco wheel
- Keep “All 50” or tap a region chip.
- Press Spin or swipe the wheel.
- Read the city and its region in the result.
- Already been there? In List view, untick the city: it stays in your list but leaves the wheel.

Weekend ideas in Morocco
Coast
Essaouira for the wind and the Gnaoua festival in June, Asilah for its murals, El Jadida for the Portuguese City of Mazagan, Saidia for Mediterranean beaches and Dakhla for kitesurfing.
Mountains and nature
Chefchaouen and its blue streets in the Rif, Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou, the Ouzoud waterfalls in Azilal province, the Todra Gorge near Tinghir.
Imperial cities and desert
Fez, Meknes, Rabat and Marrakech, the four imperial cities, each have a historic center listed by UNESCO. Further south, Ouarzazate leads to Aït Ben Haddou, and Errachidia province to the Merzouga dunes.
Tip: tap your own region for a short trip, then let the what to eat wheel pick dinner once you arrive.
Morocco geography quiz
Turn on Mystery mode in Settings so the slices show “?”, then spin and ask a question about the city that comes out: Which region is it in? Which sea or ocean is closest? What is it famous for? Older players can rank two cities from north to south. For a world round, switch to the random country generator.
2030 World Cup special
Morocco co-hosts the 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal, and the six Moroccan host cities named in the bid are all on this wheel: Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Fez and Agadir. The same six cities hosted the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Paste those six into a new wheel to plan a match-day tour, or draw a club for each city with the random football team generator.
Is the city wheel random?
Yes. With “All 50” selected, each city has a 1 in 50 chance, exactly 2%. Tap Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma and it becomes 1 in 7, about 14.3%. The city is drawn by your browser’s cryptographic random generator before the wheel turns, and the animation only shows the result. Read how it works, and test it, on the fairness page.
Frequently asked questions
Which Moroccan cities are included?
Fifty cities from all 12 regions: the big ones such as Casablanca, Rabat, Fez, Marrakech, Tangier and Agadir, every regional capital, and travel favorites such as Chefchaouen, Essaouira, Ifrane, Zagora and Dakhla. The full list, grouped by region, is just above. If your town is missing, add it in the editor: your version is saved on your device.
Can I filter the cities by region?
Yes. Tap one of the 12 region chips above the wheel and only the cities of that region stay on it, each with an equal chance. Tap “All 50” to bring every city back. Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab is represented by a single city, Dakhla, so that chip always lands on it; for more variety in the south, try Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra or Guelmim-Oued Noun.
How do I use the wheel to choose a destination?
Start by removing what does not fit: tap your region for a weekend, or untick the cities that are too far or already visited. Then spin once and commit to the result, or spin three times and vote between the three cities. Turn on Elimination so a city drawn once does not come back. Share the result with your travel group by link or WhatsApp.
Is there an Arabic version of this wheel?
Yes. The whole site is available in Arabic, French, English and Spanish. Use the language menu at the top of the page to switch: the Arabic page lists the same 50 cities with their Arabic names, reads right to left, and keeps the region chips. Your saved wheels stay on your device whichever language you choose.
